How is MitID andNemLog-in3 different from NemID?
MitID and NemLog-in3 continues the generic functionality we know from NemID but it is different in some fundamental ways

Does a Service Provider need to use a Broker in order to support MitID?
Yes.
With NemID service providers could connect direcly however all access to MitID is through a Broker.
Brokers need to get cetificed and fullfill a lot of requirements regarding security and business responsibility.

How is signing supported in MitID?
In MitID signing is supported by the central signature component in NemLogin3. This means that MitID users based on a successfull login there can perform a signature for use on e.g. agreements.
The central signature components in NemLogin3 are still not available in test-environments and hence there is no integration test possibilities with the broker yet. Follow the Nemlogin3 project for further details.
How can I test logins with the broker?
You can allready test different logins with the broker. For test purposes you can use three types of test users:
- NemID Test users (issued in the Nets NemID test env)
- MitID Demo users (any user id combined with any password which is not validated)
- MitID Test users (issued in the Nets MitID test env)
